Fucoxanthin – A New Crutch to Lean On
Personal Weight Management is a complex problem that requires a multi-disciplined approach. Many people that are just starting a Weight Loss program often need a “crutch” to help you get started quickly.
Fucoxanthin (sold under the trade name Fucothin) is derived from brown seaweed and contains a natural “carotenoid” (natural pigments found primarily in plants and algae).
Biothin is a newer version of this product. It is the same as Fucothin but adds Hoodia (Hoodia Gordonii), a natural plant derivative that contains a molecule that tricks your brain into thinking your stomach is full. The active ingredient appears to be a previously unknown molecule now called P57. Researchers at Brown University in Rhode Island believe P57 is about 1,000 times as active as glucose, so it evidently sends its ‘stop eating’ message even when you have not eaten.
